The SA Mineral Processing Equipment Cluster (SAMPEC) is focused on growing local supply to the SA Mining sector while increasing exports to African markets. SAMPEC has 19 members including some of the largest mineral processing manufacturing companies. Goals include: • Increasing Access to African Markets: o Supporting member company participation in selected exhibitions & capital projects o Supporting the Mining Charter Localisation requirements • Lowering Total Cost of Ownership: o Promotion of R&D / Innovation o Advancing competitiveness & skills development • Advocacy: o Representing member interests to government & mining industry o Providing a platform for addressing key issues affecting the sustainability of the mining inputs value chain
