Accutrak Group brings combined Trucktrak and Conveyor Belt Scale integration to bord and pillar operations
In bord and pillar mining, production is managed panel by
panel along the strike of the ore body - making it critical to know not just
where machines are working, but exactly how much material is coming out of each
panel and where it ends up. Accutrak's integrated solution connects the two
ends of that picture: Trucktrak tracks every LHD and dump truck underground in
real time, while Conveyor Belt Scales measure live tonnage and flow rate as
that material reaches the belt.
Together, the two systems give mine planners and production
teams a single, continuous view from face to belt - validated vehicle-level
load and haul activity per panel, matched against actual tonnage delivered,
without waiting for periodic surveys or manual reconciliation.
The combined system supports in-shift compliance monitoring
against mine plans, panel-level production reporting, and early identification
of discrepancies between vehicle activity and delivered tonnage - helping
operations close the gap between what's mined and what's measured.
For complete underground visibility, Accutrak Group also
offers Smartrail, which tracks and weighs rail-bound tramming, and Accuchip, a
tracking and management system for rail-bound material cars - extending the
same real-time production picture to operations that make use of underground
rail.
