Johan brings over 26 years of experience in the abrasive industry, having developed his career through a series of progressively senior roles across operations, sales, and technical functions.

He began in dispatch and receiving before advancing into internal sales and later supervising the internal sales function. Leveraging his strong product knowledge and commercial acumen, Johan transitioned into a Technical Sales Representative role, where he consistently delivered results and demonstrated leadership capability.

His expertise has been further strengthened through international training, providing him with global exposure and advanced technical insight that underpin his effectiveness in the field.

He subsequently progressed to Area Sales Supervisor and has since achieved recognition as an Application Specialist in precision, reflecting his deep technical expertise and commitment to excellence.

Seasoned in product knowledge of precision tools, and optimization, advancing operator safety and efficiency is one of his core objectives, especially when it comes to stock removal applications within “hard-to reach” areas.

Tungsten carbide burrs are often the choice of tool for these applications, as they offer “on point” precision, with rapid removal.

However, swarf breaking away on these grinding applications, post significant challenges for the operator during use. Not only does it create a hazard for precise application, but it is also extremely harmful due to its sharp, needle-like properties that can penetrate the skin and cause injury.

The Superflex range of tungsten carbide burrs, offer a double-cut flute design that not only blunts the  swarf eliminating skin irritation, but also offer a higher stock removal rate – resulting in reduced working time, and finished-product achievement rates much faster than conventional tungsten carbide burrs.

With a range of specifications and sizes on offer, we can meet any demand.
