The FireDos DZ1000 portable proportioner, exhibited by DoseTech, delivers accurate mechanical foam proportioning for mining, industrial, and wildfire firefighting applications without the need for an external power supply.
Exhibited by DoseTech Fire, FireDos partner in Southern Africa, the portable proportioners provide a practical solution for mines requiring mobile firefighting capability. Designed for use in wildfire suppression, vegetation fires, fuel storage areas, workshops, conveyor systems, and other high-risk locations, the units deliver precise foam induction across a wide operating range while remaining simple to operate in the field.

The DZ1000 allows operators to change foam induction rates between 0.3%, 1%, and 3% during operation, while the lightweight DZ1000 Light offers settings of 0.1%, 0.5%, or 1%, making it particularly effective for wetting agent applications where water conservation is critical. For industrial applications, FireDos also offers carrying-frame versions capable of handling high-viscosity foam concentrates and adjustable proportioning rates up to 6%.

Built without the need for external power, the FireDos proportioners combine reliability, portability, and ease of maintenance, making them a valuable addition to mining emergency response strategies.

Designed for mobile use, both units provide precise foam concentrate proportioning over flow rates ranging from 140 to 1,000 litres per minute. The DZ1000 Light can also produce wetting agent solutions from flow rates as low as 80 litres per minute, making it ideal for wildfire suppression and perimeter protection where efficient water use is a priority.

One of the key advantages of the FireDos system is its operational simplicity. Foam induction rates can be changed during use without interrupting firefighting operations. The DZ1000 offers selectable proportioning rates of 0.3%, 1%, and 3%, while the DZ1000 Light provides 0.1%, 0.5%, or 1% settings, allowing crews to match foam application to changing fire conditions.
