SACEEC Members Making Their Mark at Electra Mining Africa 2026
South African manufacturers continue to showcase world-class innovation, engineering excellence and export capability on one of Africa's biggest industrial stages.

Johannesburg, South Africa – Every two years, Electra Mining Africa brings together the companies, technologies and people shaping the future of mining, manufacturing, automation, electrical engineering and industrial development across the continent. Among the exhibitors once again this year will be a strong contingent of members from the South African Capital Equipment Export Council (SACEEC), demonstrating the innovation, engineering expertise and manufacturing capability that continue to position South Africa as a globally respected supplier of capital equipment.

Representing a broad cross-section of industries, SACEEC members manufacture and supply products and services that support mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, transport, energy and numerous other sectors. Many of these companies have built successful export businesses over decades, supplying customers throughout Africa and in more than 80 countries worldwide.

Electra Mining Africa provides these manufacturers with an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with customers, strengthen existing relationships, introduce new technologies and explore opportunities in both established and emerging markets. For many companies, the exhibition serves as more than a showcase; it is where new partnerships are formed, business opportunities are identified, and long-term customer relationships begin.

The exhibition also provides visitors with a unique opportunity to experience the depth and diversity of South African manufacturing in one location. From innovative engineering solutions and heavy industrial equipment to specialised components, automation technologies and support services, SACEEC members continue to demonstrate why locally manufactured products remain highly regarded for their quality, reliability and performance.

According to SACEEC, the continued success of its members reflects more than individual company achievements. It demonstrates the strength, resilience and global competitiveness of South Africa's manufacturing sector as a whole.

"One of the greatest strengths of Electra Mining Africa is the opportunity it creates for our members to demonstrate what South African manufacturing is capable of," says Eric Bruggeman, Chief Executive Officer of SACEEC. "Our members continue to compete successfully on the global stage because they combine innovation, quality and practical industry experience. We are proud to see so many of them represented at this year's exhibition."

Visitors attending Electra Mining Africa 2026 are encouraged to explore the many SACEEC member companies exhibiting throughout the event. Each stand offers an opportunity to discover locally manufactured products, meet the people behind the innovations and learn how South African companies continue to deliver solutions that compete with the very best in the world.

As South Africa continues to strengthen its manufacturing and export sectors, the success of SACEEC members serves as a reminder that innovation, collaboration and engineering excellence remain at the heart of the country's industrial future. Electra Mining Africa provides the perfect platform to celebrate these achievements and connect local manufacturers with the customers and partners who will help shape the next chapter of their growth.
