Wear protection solutions also play a prominent role across Africa and globally including Weir’s LINATEX® rubber wear linings which are designed to help extend equipment life and improve reliability in high-wear environments commonly encountered in minerals processing operations.

In addition, the company locally manufactures mill lining solutions engineered to support grinding efficiency, improve safety during maintenance and optimise mill performance. Weir notes that mill liners play an important role in overall comminution efficiency and can have a significant impact on throughput, energy consumption and maintenance intervals.
