Johannesburg, South Africa — September 2026 — x-Glo LED Strip Lighting will use Electra Mining Africa 2026 as a platform to highlight the milestones, certifications and testing standards behind its industrial LED strip lighting systems for mining, tunnelling, oil and gas, coal mining and other demanding industrial applications.
Taking place from 7–11 September 2026 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, Electra Mining Africa brings together mining, manufacturing, automation, power and industrial professionals for five days of innovation, live demonstrations and practical solutions. x-Glo will be exhibiting in Hall 1, Stand A13.

The company’s Low Voltage Device Testing is conducted to EN 60598-2-21:2015 and EN 60598-1:2015 standards, with the x-Glo light strip and accessories certified to conform to the LVD Directive 2014/35/EU. The product is also tested to UL 2108 Low Voltage Lighting, UL 1598 Luminaires and CSA 250.0-08 standards.
For hazardous area applications, x-Glo also offers its x-Glo-Exm Range, which is designed for industries such as coal mining and oil and gas. The x-Glo- Exm Range is ATEX/IECEx certified, supporting its role in environments where certified lighting systems are critical.
