Bosworth was established in 1943 as a general fabricator. In the ensuing decades, the company naturally evolved into a leading manufacturer and supplier of bulk materials handling equipment with an emphasis on conveyor pulleys. The company has supplied pulleys and related equipment to material handling projects globally. Committed to service, dedicated to quality and an ongoing search for improvement and innovation, Bosworth complies with all the appropriate accreditation standards required by the global materials handling industry. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2015 standards, and is a member of the Conveyor Manufacturers Association of South Africa. Bosworth operates from two manufacturing facilities in Alrode, Johannesburg. Both facilities are self-sufficient in terms of power generation. The pulley manufacturing plant is equipped with a combination of solar power and standby generator capacity to ensure production disruptions are minimised.
