The EDS Multishaft Mill has applications in a wide variety of industry sectors. Sectors include mining, waste management, steel manufacture, construction, environmental rehabilitation, agriculture and general milling.
Comminution often accounts for more than 60% of the total power consumption on a mine. One of the key problems to be solved in comminution is to bring down the specific energy required to reduce particle sizes.
Customer's needs often include efficient milling, mobile milling, improved liberation, lower maintenance, lower capital costs, short lead times, redundancy and generator driven options. The EDS Multishaft Mill can solve many of these requirements.
EDS's target market includes but is not limited to various ores (gold, platinum, chrome, kimberlite, etc), slags, silica, coal, coal waste, biomas, clinker, limestone, graphite, animal feed, various mineral and ore waste materials, to name but a selection.
