Mesh Gear Manufacturers (Pty) Ltd

Mesh Gear Manufacturers is a second-generation, family-owned precision Gear manufacturing company based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. For over 50 years, we have specialised in the manufacture of precision gears and related components, serving heavy industry customers across South Africa and internationally.

Operating from a 4,500 m² facility and employing more than 100 skilled artisans and engineers, we combine decades of inherited expertise with modern manufacturing capabilities, including CNC Gear Grinding, 5-axis CNC machining, in-house heat treatment, and an on-site metallurgical laboratory for quality assurance at every stage of production.

Our additional capabilities span custom gear shaping, broaching and hobbing, supporting sectors such as earthmoving equipment, mining, and industrial machinery. We work closely with OEMs and end-users to manufacture components to exact specification, backed by rigorous inspection and metrology processes.

As a family business now in its second generation, Mesh Gear blends the reliability and craftsmanship of a long-established manufacturer with continuous investment in technology and process improvement — delivering precision components our customers can depend on, run after run.
