Microtex Energy Private Limited

Stand: E17G
Microtex Energy Private Limited builds battery packs for the machines that work underground. For over 15 years, Microtex batteries have powered underground mining fleets in India and across Africa — battery locomotives, scoops, LHDs, personnel carriers and utility vehicles — in gold and coal mines where diesel is unwelcome and failure is not an option. Established in 1969 in Bengaluru and exporting since 1977, Microtex is one of India's most trusted industrial battery houses.

The LIMITLESS range of vented lead-acid increased-safety traction battery packs is engineered per mine, not per catalogue: electrolyte density chosen for the mine's real operating temperature, acid containment for floors that are never level, connections built for machines that vibrate all shift, and cells capacity-tested at CPRI at the honest C5 rate. Every pack ships as a system with its matched mining-duty charger, with charge logs the mine can audit — one supplier, one responsibility.

Fully vertically integrated, Microtex produces lead alloys, oxides, plates, tubular gauntlets, separators and moulded containers in-house, and specialises in replacement packs engineered to any machine's battery box. The same tubular-plate technology serves railways, utilities, telecom, solar and oil & gas worldwide.

No Exhaust, No Excuse: What Battery Haulage Gives Back to an Underground Mine
Every diesel machine underground is also a ventilation load. Microtex on what battery locomotives and vehicles hand back to the mine: cleaner headings, cooler air, quieter workings.
Why Lead-Acid Still Rules Underground: The Safety Case, and the Circle That Closes
Slow, visible, manageable failure modes underground — and recovery rates routinely reported around 99% in organised recycling. Why mining fleets still specify lead-acid traction packs.
The Fleet Your Supplier Forgot: Microtex Re-Engineers Replacement Packs for Ageing Underground Fleets
Underground locomotives outlive their battery suppliers. Microtex engineers replacement packs to any battery box — voltage, capacity and terminals matched from a nameplate photograph.
