Next milestone for NETZSCH Pumps & Systems! In mid November, the South African subsidiary NETZSCH Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd. opened a new pump assembly centre in Durban. By opening the new facility, the increasing demand on the African continent will be met even faster and more flexibly. The global specialist in handling complex media is thus taking another important step in its strategic development. Already in 2021, a new assembly hall was opened in Johannesburg. An even larger facility with more capacity has now been opened in Durban to meet the rise in demand for positive displacement pumps in Africa in recent years. “Today is essential in the geo-strategic development of NETZSCH Pumps & Systems. With the opening of the assembly centre in Durban, we are laying a further milestone in the global expansion of our business. Expecting significant growth on the African continent in the coming years we have positioned ourselves as a pioneer. This will enable us to fulfil our performance promise, Proven Excellence in this region, and continue to act quickly, agilely and flexibly for and with our customers”, says CEO Andreas Denker. On the other hand, the existing plant in Johannesburg will be repurposed as a sales and service centre. The new pump assembly centre is located in the port city of Durban on the east coast of South Africa. It is 1200 square metres and will serve the South African and Sub-Saharan region with positive displacement pumps.
