Tritec Sintered Products (Pty) Ltd commenced business in Johannesburg in 1984 as a closed corporation, converting to a proprietary company in 1996 and trading under the much more sensible name of Sintech.
The name "Sintech" is an abbreviation of Sintered Technology, which, when applied to friction material, is at the heart of the range of products we supply and support.
Founder Allan Mackintosh still works for the company, while the day-to-day operations are managed by an experienced leadership team with extensive knowledge of our customers and markets.
Our head office is in Johannesburg, where our focus is on customer service through the supply of spare parts, design and specification for new applications, a full inspection and repair facility, on-site inspection and maintenance, and customer stock control and logistics.
Both facilities are ISO 9001:2015 certified, and Sintech is a B-BBEE Level 1 contributor under the Generic Codes.
The products we proudly service and support are imported from leading original equipment manufacturers around the world. Our suppliers have partnered with Sintech for many years and understand the unique requirements of our customers and operating conditions.
