Qualifications: BSC (Mech Eng)
Peter has been in the valve industry for many years.
Was involved in supplying the first 100bar Pressure Reducing system on one of the underground water supply systems for a mine in the Anglo American group. Has since been in some Valve companies and always with a high level of involvement in Control valves. Peter now has his own company (Ultra Control Valves) since 2010 and has grown from a low base to R3M per month. One of the developments is supply of complete Reticulation systems for the mines including waterhammer analysis and water saving. Some Unique valves have found favour, especially the Australian Maric Flow control valve. Besides popular as a water saving device, it has become the Industry standard for Slurry Pump Gland service control. So besides being a problem solver, Ultra now also have a large range of Commodity items such as Butterfly valves and RSV Gate valves available from stock.
Water saving systems Ultra have been involve in has become the core of its business with high potential for growth.
